1. The furniture in the room is covered by white sheets. What are they meant to remind us of?
The white sheets represent and remind us of ghosts, which make the scene seem more scary and worse for Grace the character
2. How is the camera positioned in different ways to make us feel scared for Grace?
The cameras have different positions in this scene and move a lot to make the audience feel more anxious and make the audience feel more scared for Grace because it make it feel like something is coming. Also the camera gets closer and closer to the character to shows fear in the character and they use a tracking shot flowing her this make the audience feel more connected and more in the scene with the character. The camera move around her and she starts to hear the voice this make the audience feel like they are making the noise and scaring Grace  
3. How is sound used in this sequence to scare us?
The sound in this clip is used to scare the character but also to make the audience feel more involved  in the film and feel more attached to the things around her it come across like we are making the sounds.

The film Trainspotting portrays social and cultural contexts very well in a post Thatcherism era, in the way that the film deals with the effects of Thatcherism and the lack of work for young people in the working class. Thatcherism legacy lived on through the 90s and still developed a lot of unemployment among the UK and this is shown in Trainspotting from the lack of work shown in this film and the fact that none of the main characters have jobs shows that there are still Thatcherism policy is still going on.
