In Captain fantastic the masculinity is about living in a world of masculinity which needs you to be a big strong person which is a stereotypically a masculine trait and that the father try's to make them more like men by giving his children knives and makes them hunt for there food. Where as on the other in inception masculinity is portrayed differently in the way that their is a shift in power between Cobb and his Ariadne and how at the start of the dream Cobb controls the dream and the situation but as they go deeper Ariadne starts to take control of the situation and controls things by moving things in the dream this makes Cobb vulnerable in the dream and reveals his wife to her.
