1.What is the purpose of this scene besides the obvious recruitment?
The purpose of this scene is to help the spectators gain information of what the film is about and how the characters help to tell the spectators the basic points of the film. This scene really helps to fill in the blank of information that we didn't know and it help to give the spectators a better understanding of what is going on and what the characters are going to do next.
2.How can we tell that Ariadne is slowly realising that she is in a dream from the performance of the actor?
We can tell that she starts to realise that she is dreaming because she starts to question her self and starts to become worried and shock about what is going on while they are sat at the table speaking.
3.How does the audience placement change within this sequence?
The audience placement changes in this scene because we start off with Kobb having all the answers and Ariadne asking all the questions which shows that Kobb is the one with all the power. We see a change when Ariadne starts to change the dream world and the power shifts from Kobb to Ariadne because she starts to have all the answers and it is Kobb that starts to ask all the questions.

The use of camerawork is really effect to show that spectator that we are on this journey with him the shot used to show this is a tracking shot which follows Leonardo. The camerawork helps to crate a response to this scene by by using close up shots to really show the emotion of the character within the scene and to really show the meaning of the story.

This end scene links to a heist movie by the way that the characters all look at each other and appreciate each other without saying anything which really crate a feel for this scene and helps to appreciate what they have achieved.
